A case history. . .
during last 4 years ,I have observed that one of the cause of appendicitis in intellectual group is stress. . This stress is one of our enemy for various diseases, will discuss later. But as far as the case of appendicitis increasing day by day. In my surgery O.P.D. 10% or more is the mentioned case. And one cause that is increasing these days is stress.
The students of my college suffering from the same ,85% of them was during exam. period .Same problem is increasing in high affluent society.
So my advise to you is that avoid stress.Try to smile also in pains. . . Be free from various diseases, as one is appendicitis.

Dear Abhay
It was nice to have a glimpse, although gloomy, of Araria through your eyes. I left Araria Court in 1984, but still consider my base to be in Araria. It is the nes of flood in Bihar that prompted me to check out what is happeing in the ground. I recognise you guys will have an enormous task ahead of you. Good luck, and God be with you!
With kindest regards
Manoj

DR. Abhay’s observation is very true. I have noticed the same and noted that appendicits comes in 3 age groups, and the cause of stress broadly differs. Younger children – unhappy homes, parental issues; adoloscents- stress of studies/exams; and, young adults- failure to meet their expectations in life.
I have also observed that in Down’s Syndrome, appendicitis is virtually unknown – just two cases in Pubmed, and none of my senior colleagues can recollect from their personal experiences.
I have also noted that women with with goitres usually have unhappy marriages. Another observation is that adult tuberculosis mainly as cold abscess occurs in sensitive, intelligent people – and history tells most young poets died in their thirties from tuberculosis before ATT became available.

This is so interesting. I came down with appendicitis last week and had to have my appendix taken out. I am a 37-year old woman who has been feeling extreme emotional distress in my troubled relationship for the past few years. For a few weeks before I contracted appendicits, I had the distinct feeling that I was reaching some sort of breaking point. I haven’t been able to find much information on this on the Internet, but I firmly believe my body was telling me that enough was enough and I need to make some changes in my life immediately. I have never had such a forceful message from my body before and I need to start listening to it.
